RESULTS

The project delivered Tunisia’s first integrated assessment of the agri-food processing sector, jointly addressing competitiveness, sustainability, and food safety. It identified three priority subsectors—olive oil, cereal derivatives, and gourmet products—and produced actionable roadmaps to upgrade value chains, strengthen competitiveness, and expand market opportunities. The study provided evidence-based policy recommendations and a strategic framework to support investment, improve food security, and guide long-term sustainable development of the sector.
