Technical assistance to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Benin to support the honey sector through public-private dialogue.
The ICR Facility, as part of its mission to enhance economic growth and improve livelihoods, aimed to provide technical assistance to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Benin (CCI Benin). This support was in response to a strategic study request from the Institutional and Economic Partnership Department of CCI Benin, focusing on the honey sector. The project aligned with the first Axis of the ICR Facility, which emphasizes technical assistance to bolster business environments and foster sustainable investment.
Our team collaborated closely with CCI Benin, honey producers, and stakeholders across the beekeeping value chain, including associations, support services, and universities. Over seven months, we worked together to strengthen the sector through strategic positioning, institutional alignment, and fostering public-private partnerships.
Our collaborative approach aimed at enhancing innovation, productivity, and knowledge dissemination among stakeholders. We also assisted CCI Benin in developing an investment plan.
